The European Commission has launched a call for tenders for setting up and managing a ‘Support Office’ that will assist in facilitating the Rural Pact.
The Rural Pact support office will interact with the Rural Pact community, evaluate their needs and support the work of the community as a whole. It will also need to build synergies with networks and governing bodies, such as the future EU CAP Network governing bodies, the Broadband Competence Office support facility, and bodies running the Territorial agenda for the EU and the future network activities of the Commission’s Communication on ‘Attracting and retaining talents in EU regions-from brain drain to brain gain’. It will also interact with stakeholder networks such as the European Rural Parliament.
