About the MAP

In the Occitany region of France, the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier (IAMM), which is one of the four institutes of the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), coordinates the Multi-Actor Platform Pays Pyrénées Méditerranée.

All the activities carried out by the MAP will be focused on entrepreneurship, social economy, just transition and sustainable value chains, and more specifically territorialised food systems.

The Multi-Actor Platform is newly established, operates at a regional level and the coordinators are supported by the Local Action Group of Pays Pyrénnées Méditerranée.

  • MAP objective 3: To identify the main key issues for the TAP related to this context in a long-term vision.
  • MAP objective 4: To come up with concrete proposals within the framework of this TAP to respond to the different issues and challenges identified and to influence public policies.
