The year 2020 has started with new meetings being set-up across Europe for the establishment of the multi-actor platforms (MAPs) envisioned under the SHERPA project.

Recently, a new meeting took place in Ljubljana, led by the Slovenian MAP, gathering over 90 participants and engaging them into discussions on the topic of biodiversity and landscape features. Stakeholders found the meeting very useful to bridge the knowledge gap between policy-makers and practitioners, also in the light of feeding into the CAP Strategic Plan.

In Italy, a pilot MAP held its first meeting in Emilia-Romagna, bringing to the table over 20 participants from the policy sphere to discuss the topic of biodiversity and its implications for the national CAP Strategic Plan.
