The findings of the SHERPA Multi-Actor Platforms have been published online. The 18 documents have put forward local, regional and national insights on various rural topics from across 17 EU countries.
During 2021, the SHERPA MAPs have worked on three relevant aspects for the development of rural areas:
- Alternative rural futures
- Change in production and diversification of the rural economy
- Climate change and environmental sustainability
The MAPs had as a starting point the Discussion Papers developed at the project level in SHERPA, to help them launch discussions on the ground. Through various activities, workshops and interviews, the MAP teams developed MAP Position Papers.
These documents will feed into the SHERPA Position Papers that will be published in March 2022 on the abovementioned topics.
