In France, a national guide on “Smart village, towards a French model for rural territories” has been just published!
The guide was produced by Association pour le Développement en Réseau des Territoires et des Services, under the request of the National Rural Network.
It provides rural elected officials with a methodology and concrete examples to put into practice the Smart Village approach in rural areas along five sections:
- Smart village, what are we talking about
- Methodological references
- Resources
- Initiatives and words of actors
- Lessons learned
“The Smart Villages are part of a logic of decompartmentalization of the actors, we wanted to address this guide to a wide range of actors” says Céline Dacy, project manager at ADRETS.
